Eastbach Charollais, owned by Peter Scott and managed by Dougie Ferguson, is based by the River Wye in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire.

Our aim is to produce and sell the best Charollais rams for the commercial fat lamb producer using Signet recording EBV’s to identify the breeding stock with the fastest growth rate and highest muscling together with the best conformation and hardiness.

Donors Dalby Kate and YTJ 9024

At the Wocester Premier sale this year we bought Edstaston Leopards Den, the highest index lamb ever sold at auction for 3000 guineas jointly with Neil Oughton of the Lowerye Flock.

Leopards Den is a tremendously well fleshed ram with an incredible EBV Index of 500 and who carries the MyoMax Gold Gene.

At the Dalby 25th Anniversary Sale we bought a yearling ewe Dalby Kate PE 00111 with an EBV index of 497. She is by Dalby Galactico out of Dalby Hyacinth known as one of the breed's very best sheep.

We have also bought Langstone Laramie a Myomax Gold ram lamb from Nick and Mimi Hart and we intend to use him and Leopards Den as our main tups along with Lowerye Kaiser.
